Well guess what. I managed to win a trip to MulticamP.
MULTICAMp is a technology workshop for producers, directors, camera operators, editors and TD’s who want to learn about multicamera production, live streaming and editing. It is produced by Mitch Jacobson, author of the book: Mastering Multicamera Techniques .
The class lasted two days and was taught by Mitch Jacobson and held at Magdalin Creative Media in Chicago, The end product of the class was for us to produce a live show that got streamed to the internet. We produced the show in the giant chromakey section of Magdalin studio. This allowed us to then use a virtual studio set that had been created for the show. This was a great class. If you still have a chance to go to one of the remaining classes, do so even if you have to travel.
The end result for Absolute Video Services Inc. is that we now have a new skill set we can offer the public. Yours truly is the one operating the switcher for the show. You can view the show here.
